Anxiously waiting for L4D 2 (cause it's gonna be me, my sis, my sis husband and some other random peeps going to zombie through the game when it comes out on november), I knew that Crash Course was available somewhere this week, and truefully it came. And there came the excitement that overruns me and there I go rampaging zombies... again!!! "Crashing will be the easiest thing they do today." Ultrafully right, since Zoey right from the start of this campaign did mention about riding a helicopter with a zombie pilot. Helicopter. Zombie Pilot. No wonder they crashed.
Remember the last scene of No Mercy, where a bunch of zombies + 2 tanks are on the rooftop of the hospital preventing you to get onto the HELICOPTER? Great luck they got, cause the helicopter they went into had a zombie pilot in it. Wahahaha!!! Crash course fills up the empty space between No Mercy and Death Toll(at the end of Crash Course you get into a truck and at the start of Death Toll your truck gets smashed to the ground). Don't remember? Oh well who cares about the story when the scripwriters are just being hilarious.
Now about the campaign, I completed advanced mode of Crash Course lots and lots of times within 2-3 hours of play. It's a very very short campaign with only 2 episodes that will roughly take up about 30 mins for each play. Real Short.
I just love killing 'em.
The main focus of Crash Course is surely at the versus mode part. 1 hr for the entire campaign for versus mode, good for people who don't have much time or wanna have some mini-fun only. The best part of this map is that... it is entirely new, there are so many rooftops and ambush areas in crash course, many of the path survivors have to take are paths that involves bushes and cars and trucks(bad line of sight, very bad if tank comes into an area with lots of cars). Lot of ambush areas, lots of backstabbing techniques, heck boomer can be anywhere to boom on his victim due to the map being so open. That ain't bad news for the survivors, cause there are so many rooms and ammos and guns and pills to take for this map. Many rooms = greater survivability for the survivors.
The best part is the final part of the 2nd episode, where no matter where the survivors are hiding, smokers and hunters can take down the survivors anytime. Not to forget the superb part of having to re-engage the generator after the 2nd wave of zombies goes down and the 2nd tank comes out.... brilliant. Cause to reengage the generator, one has to press and hold the button until it's engages... Unless the tank dies, I don't think any survivor can live with the tank running all around the generator. In a way, it's damn hella fun.
All in all, crash course is more for versus play rather than campaign play. And versus play on Crash Course is soooo fun though superbly short... Well I am still happy, at least there's another new map until 2 months later when L4D2 comes out... In the meantime, Crash Course will suffice... together with Jubeat Ripples(come to think of it, I haven't touched Ripples since last saturday, probably because I was bored to see the credit counts in the ripples machines and that Ripples ain't that fun for me anymore, compared to when the first Jubeat came out).
It's a long time since I played this game. And it seems my skills haven't wither too much... yet.
However I have to admit the game was so tight until the 4th death toll map where the opponent team made a huge mistake and caused them to wiped out.
And I was playing with 3 other random japanese players and was lucky I know what they were talking about through the mic as I can understand japanese. Haha.
Last weekend, was happy to play with Strawberry Shortcake, ky. and eyes -aTTax. Playing with them really shows the difference between normal teamwork and extraodinary teamwork. That's of course since they are some of better players sg has. Excluding the top 3 L4D teams in sg anyway. Learn how mediocre I am compared to them but hey, I play L4D for fun only while they are entering tournaments! Of course there are differences.
Long long time no mj. Just mj-ed at Shuj's house with mh and Shuj's mum.
Apparently, I feel so old and tired suddenly. It's like halfway I suddenly felt my energy drained and my head hurts like shyt. Although I knew why my head hurts cause of the previous day but... oh well.
Played 2 rounds for the roughly 6 hours mj session. Shuj was the big winner for the first round, but lost almost all of her winnings in the second round.
I was the opposite of Shuj, I lost alot in the first round, and won all of them back plus another 6 bucks at the end of the second round.
MH lost about 5 bucks, and Shuj's mum lost about 1.5 bucks.
Stakes were 20-40cents, minimum 1 double.
And apparently, 平胡 is so easy to do in Shuj's house. I dunno why also. And it pays hella lot.
And as usual, I was singing when playing mj again even though they were peeps that I am not exactly close with(even with Shuj's mum presence), well seems like I can sing weird lyrics on any mj table.
Enjoyed myself today(except for the fact that my energy was drained and my head hurts even now).

Oh, and I love late night movie marathon. Watched Whiteout and Inglorious Bastard during the weekend. Inglorious Bastard even lasted for about 2.5hrs, making every part of this enjoyable long movie worth my bucks. Whiteout isn't too shabby either, as I love thriller/action movies. And beautiful Kate is starring in the movie too.
Ain't gonna write any spoilers so for those who wanna consider these 2 movies, I will give my own rating of them.
Inglorious Bastard: 4/5 - Brad Pitt together with this light-hearted fiction 2.5 hr show is just plain hilarious. Those who like Kill Bill will definitely like this(Damn Adolf Hitler looks so pretty retarded in the movie).
Whiteout: 3.5/5 - I love action movies. Although I know who was the main mastermind right from the start(it's so obvious), the action scenes is still very enjoyable to watch. Storyline was predictable, not much surprises.
Yesh more Ripples news. After getting nebo I have the urge to spam Ripples until I am mad. Got a high score of 992992 for Control after 12 tries! Not too bad, think I am improving quite fast, though I am making very silly mistakes if not I could have fc this song for the first few tries I take.

Buzzer Beat next week got special episode... Just as I thought that yesterday's episode was the last... Well I really hate this jdrama cause the director of the drama apparently said it will be a light and happy jdrama yet it was very good from episode 1 to 9 until the very last episode where the ending is soooo.... soooooo....
Sad. Or touching. Or whatever. Sacrifice must be made for dreams to be realised don't they?
Just hope that the 90 min special next week will change the ending to a happy one!

Went to Ma Maison for a dinner session with Serene's group last friday due to Kunming going to enlist in NS!!! Haha his botak head... wahahahaha!!!
Anyway this is the first time I ate in Ma Maison(cause there was always a long queue, lazy to queue up) and I have to really say I had a very pleasant dinner experience there!!!

After dinner we went ktv pubbing at Beer Belly@Boat Quay. I guess Serene's group was rather rich cause it was 28bucks per beer jug there. 28 bucks... that's a little high for a jug of beer? Serene got tipsy after drinking waterfall by a guy who offered her(Kunming and me were seriously worried of Serene when she looks really drunk after that drink). In the end nothing happened. Phew. On that day I really wanted to pull Serene back when the guy jio-ed her to the back of the pub but somehow my brain tells me that auntie can handle it herself. Wakakaka!!! My brain is right lol!
Anyway we drank a total of 4 jugs of beer on the night itself... amongst 4 people. Basically I probably drank a whole 1 and a half jug alone... maybe even more... cause Jess can't even take beer. Haha. Was real drunk on that night but was still good enough to eat supper with John and Lushy after the pubbing. Haha. I can't get drunk for nuts.
Except that, the next day I woke up, I had a serious hangover.
There weren't anyone at zoneX@AMKhub so I went to spam about 11 games... I was determined to get a SSS for キミ、メグル、ボク. Unfortunately, I phailed really really badly.
Well for the happy news...
EXC 2 songs in 1 try and in 1 credit!!! The other song I had only 1 blue bar(sadded)... But still a very nice feeling!!!(WTH why got 4 players playing a basic song...)
And the bad news...
Managed to fc it. But... 16 tries and no SSS for a lv6 song. The starting and ending part is the demonic part to score, I just can't coordinate my right hand with my left hand seperately... No matter how I press, it just doesn't go well. To think that Plus(Minus) 986k this song on his first try. This song has too little notes therefore not perfecting the starting and ending part will just get me an SS score.
With that said, I am not giving up. Will keep on spamming this song until I get an SSS. I ain't any Chaserz or Plus, but I believe one day I can do it!!! Waste of money or what, I prefer to do what I like. Just as people likes to chiong grade points(to unlock new songs, but wth I don't really like the new songs except the 隅田川夏恋歌 and area51). I will play leisurely at my rate and get those songs much later.
Finally excellent ロボットハニー Basic. In 3 tries. Damn I am getting the feel of exc back.
Also after getting SSS and full combo on Natsu Matsuri Extreme, I finally did the same thing with 明日ハレルヤ! Extreme too!!! 6 blue bars only to be exact. And it took me only 5 tries. It's an easy song!!!

I am by no means a pro in Beatup. Just love this mode though, it's fun!!! Any player with the love of Beatup can definitely be as good as me, if not even better.
