Another Pearl Mania 4 pts achievement on Master lv 3!!!
L4D2
A virgin expert campaign completion for Imran. Gratz to him!!! Unfortunately tiki got raped by the zombies. Just look at what Nick(which is me) said in the picture:
"Well shyt. We're a twosome from here on out."
Sounds so gay when 2 big guys are on the last helicopter to safety.
Thing to note is that we actually didn't rush the bridge from the start... we were moving slowly as a team from the start to the middle bridge until the tank came out... then me and Imran just chiong to the helicopter while the other 2 enjoyed the muscles of the tank. Sad tiki. RIP.
Another thing to note is, I just noticed I can connect to players who host illegally when I am using steam L4D2. Something like, Imran has a illegal copy of L4D2 and he host a game, but I can join his game without using the standalone hack program and joining through the legitimate steam way. I just need to connect to garena servers and that's it. That's one good thing to know because I don't need to install the standalone thing and uninstall it everytime I play with Imran and team.
And regards to imran and team, we went to play versus mode again few days back, and I got badly thrashed by Imran and Bala. Sadded. My versus mode seriously sux.
Oh in case Imran comes to visit my blog... here's 2 SS to boast. I believe I posted before Realism Expert Hard Rain and Dead Center completion already, so I will just post these 2.
Sadly, I have never ever completed Parish alived. Countless times I have completed Parish Realism Expert but it's when I am dead. So SAD. But I believe I can do it one day.
Thing to note from this SS(regarding the last map of the Parish): Dies irae is the one who taught me how to evade the tank and the 2nd mobs at the bridge after the tank(usually when you reach the bridge behind the tank you have to throw a pipe bomb cause the zombie mobs are waiting for you at the end of the bridge, but his method takes the stance of no-pipe-bomb-also-can-complete-easily.) What's his method? Climb up the green metal pillar, walk over the stupid zombie mobs who can't find you anywhere, and drop down to the bus safely over the stupid zombie mobs. Without shooting a bullet. I have seen him done it flawlessly. I haven't try it out, but one fine day I will.
Another Realism Expert Campaign completed. Dark Carnival, with all of us alive.
So the conclusion is, regarding Realism Expert, I have done Dead Center, Dark Carnival, Hard Rain, and The Parish(although I have never been alive when the team completes Parish). Left Swamp Fever. Apparently, not much people likes to play this map on realism mode.

Gyugaku
I found their signboard very beautiful on the night I went there. Together with the accompanying scenery of course.

I dunno why, but I don't remember Gyugaku giving out aprons on the few occasions I came. But this time, they gave us aprons. And the aprons looks cute somehow.
The feast. Top left: Wagyu beef. Top right: Chicken. Bottom Left: Buta Karubi. Bottom Right: Kurobuta Collar. Plus the raw carrot in the middle which I BBQ and eat too. BBQ carrots. LOL!
Kaisen Chijimi(nearer to pic) and Cripsy Pork Belly. Laisen Chijimi is nice!!! So is the cripsy pork belly too. OMG the foods here I really good!!!
Food not in pic: Potato Butter Foil. Forgot to take it. LOL.
Total cost goes to 140 bucks. I blame the Wagyu Beef. Not I eat one anyway. Well since it's not an everyday trip to Gyugaku, it's definitely money well spent. The staff even gave us free green tea after the meal for spending so much. LOL!

Also, I patched audi yesterday and realised Taeyang's new song is inside, a lv3 beatup challenging song!!! Nice!!! Got 10+ miss but can do better(I want my new keyboard back, this antique keyboard I am using, it's so hard to press 741 and 963 consecutively. But my new keyboard, I short-circuited it with water...)

Treasure Madness
I seldom have a full 4 pts(if any at all) when playing puzzles of treasure madness, especially when I'm on a Champion/Master Rank. But lately I succeeded in gaining 4 points for 2 of the games I played... 1 game on Gem Swap and 1 game on Pearls Mania.
My reaction are usually slow so it stuns me on how I was able to do it. Well, at least now I know I can do it.

Oh well since there's nthing to blog, I just post some SS I had over the weekend. Starting with this:
This bridge is Left4cake is so evil, first a tank and now a witch spawns in the middle of the bridge. What's worse is, they won't die even if they dropped into the lava.
Finally a no miss song in beatup!!! After hiatus for so long in bu, I can't even fc any bu song... until now. No miss You, with 614k score... I dunno if this is my highest score since I don't have a score record for this song.
Also, first time no miss Sorry Sorry. Not too bad a result!!!
Yesh, my bonus coming = my new phone coming. Finally i can surf the web using my phone!!!
3 big dead dark pixels on my LCD monitor!!
As the title says, I am damn suay. Came back from work, power on the monitor, and realised there are 3 pretty black dots there. Viewsonic's policy is to have 7 dead pixels before I can go for a 1to1 exchange. Damn it. I hope 4 more dead pixels pops out!!!
OTed again today till 10pm. 5 consecutive days of OT, and more to come. Realised 2 of my colleagues quitted this month, and one of them was a colleague which I am close to. Damn. Another close colleague of mine switching to a better paying job. With the economy getting better, this is probably one of the best time to switch jobs!!! I am thinking that I will probably switch job this year too. Not now, maybe in June or somewhere there.
Went to Fusionopolis during lunch time to have a farewell lunch with my colleague who is going to leave the company, the whole bunch of us went to ShinNichi Japanese restaurant. All I can say is, the food there is awesome~ I absolutely love the ChaSiew ramen there, and because I ordered the ramen set, it comes with 2 california sushi and 1 mochi which sets me back at 15.90. Quite worth it cause not only the ramen's really good, the california sushi and mochi are really nice too. Then we ordered some ala-carte which included sashimi wrapped rolls(My favourite dish out of all, the sashimi is soooo fresh~), takoyaki (yummy!!!) and some sushi that has mayonnaise in it(also very nice!). Total cost sets me back at around 25 bucks, but I was sooo satisfied with the food there! Worth the price IMO. Food taste definitely much better than Ajisen.
Tomorrow, another OT-to-be day. Argh. Tired le, better go for an early sleep...

Hmm it's a long time since I post anything outside of L4D. Well I am going to make all my post as short as sweet as possible so here goes. Going to blog on stuffs that happen recently.
Played versus mode in L4D2 with the audi peeps on Sunday. Me and Irene lost to Bala and Imran. It's a 2 vs 2 game so it's a fair loss no matter how I see it so... that means I am really bad at L4D2. At least I am bad at coordinating/teamwork.
Had tonnes of good food recently. When there's time I shall blog about foodies... it's a long time since I blogged about them.
Lately, I have been OT-ing like siao. Came back to work on both Saturdays and Sundays, OTing weekdays till 11+pm, and this tough work schedule timing is going to continue until at least next monday. What a pre-new year working mood for me eh? At least I hope this saturday's night is free for me so I can at least go to Madagascar's steamboat gathering. Oh well.
Went to audi just now and saw the rare JiaQi online(or at least I seldom see her after she resumed her part-time uni studies). She said that she quited her studies to continue working. Maybe it's too tough on her ba, part-time study and work. Saw Max online too and we went story-mode-crazy together. Me and Max were doing the same story quest so we played together... Max paired up with Ai while I paired up with JiaQi. 8k club dance story mode, 4hearts with 2 FMs..
If we want to fail, then we should fail the story quest together... Just 1 more heart...
And so we did it the next round. Yay~ Both me and Max cpl pairs passed the quest requirement!!!
I left 1 more time to complete the quest... And then Max starts to dc and we decided not to continue... aww...
My perfect really sux. I can't seem to perf well now.

Another L4D2 game with audi peeps today, and another custom map to play:Left4cake. I think this will be the last available custom maps to play for us since garena players can't download the Steam Addon Support tool, and without that tool some custom maps cannot be played. Eg. Dead on Time 2... Aww...
Anyway this campaign is very interesting, instead of the normal campaign games that involves killing zombies only, this campaign has some simple puzzles to solve in order to advance to the next area. And unlike the regular campaigns which have 4 or 5 stages in total, this campaign only has 3 stages. Not too short and not too long IMO, and a very fun map. The only downside is you can't play realism difficulty, so we played advanced difficulty instead. Zombies are so much easier to kill in normal campaign games...
Some fun facts encountered:
Imran knives the witch with the katana, thinking that he is kenshin or byakuya ==" Today Bala didn't disturb any witch... amazing!
Oh and there was one part where the tank suddenly appears and killed 3 survivors. I ran all the way back out of the door and took away the gas which is supposed to hold the bridge and when there is no gas... The tank dropped together with the bridge into the yellow lava...
Bye Bye tank...
Unfortunately, the tank is so imbal and it climbed out of the lava only to incapacitate me... Cheater...
The final part of the campaign is madness.... so many special infected + mobs in an area that is so hard to defend... Then I decided to become a bait and climb up onto a platform while Bala and Imran hid at one corner to support fire me.. cause... weirdly, when i am at that platform, all the zombies and special infected have the priority to kill me first(and nick the npc who loiters around the floor aimlessly waiting to get killed everytime). I am a yummy bait. Smokers smoked me from afar and Jockeys jump on my head like some Olympic gold medallist high jumper.Lucky I have 2 rather efficient supporters.
We completed the game in roughly 1 hr 10+ mins, and we killed... 3000+ zombies. This campaign is madness when it comes to the number of mobs...
L4D2 Audi Party Summary
Since I am so bored now, and still not in a sleepy mood, I shall do a nonsensical summary of the audition party members for L4D2. Doesn't make any sense? Well it doesn't ^^ Just for fun!!!
The Audtion L4D2 party members consist of:
Bala (Witch's lover + Tank's Scandal. There is a huge reason behind such a nick lol!!!)
AceHart aka Imran (The mad chionger)
Shezel aka Irene (... what nick does she have?)
Anyway Irene rarely joins us for L4D2 on weekdays so it's mostly Bala, Imran and me L4d2ing. Still very very fun though!!! When she does join, the party becomes awesome!!!
Ok Summary for each member:
Bala: He excels in fighting zombies in front of him, and because of this concentrated excellence of covering teammates in front, he rarely looks to the back/side. And in realism advanced mode, when your teammates gets attacked by a special infected the other party members won't get notified which means... If you are pounced by a special infected and you are behind Bala, RIP. Cause Bala rarely looks behind himself LOL!!! In normal campaign mode he should be a valuable support player but in realism mode... *shakes head*
Side note: He shoots the witch accidentally almost everytime he meets a witch. Which makes him the witch's lover. Apparently, the tank likes him also cause the tank loves to play merry-go-round with our lovely bala. Bala just loves to attract those nasty uncommon special infected. Awww he is just so attractive and sweet!!!
Imran: MAD CHIONGER. He chiongs faster than me. That said, Melee is his main weapon as he uses melee more than he use guns.
Side note: He likes to tio sabo by me cause everytime I pass him pills/adrenaline shots the zombie will go claw and incapacitate him. Don't ask me why lol...
Irene: The best, I mean best, supporting actress in the group. What I mean is that if she gets caught by mobs or special infected she will hardly survive, but when it comes to killing off special infected that have pounced onto her teammates she will save them rather quickly like some experienced player. Something tells me that girls are good at headshots when it really matters. Oh well I think she's the player that scouts her surroundings the most, hence saving her teammates faster too.
Me: I am a big noob!!!
That ends the summary. I think we have been playing almost everyday since New year.

We are so loving... till death do us part... The charger charged me to death and at the same time knock Imran down the building... Instant death for him lol.
The first custom map I played with them: Arena of the Dead 2 v3.0. This map is damn fun, I have only played it twice with random peeps and playing with the audi peeps is sooo fun!!! Maybe cause it's a new map therefore a more newer interesting environment. We completed it at Realism Advanced difficulty for our first try... Not that bad afterall!!! The last part of the campaign is very hard, and the picture above shows possibly the best place to camp on that stage!!! Reason is because charger can't charge in as there are high steps that will stop him from charging straight to us. The other special infected pose little to no problems.
Ok end of post. Anyway with this audi-L4D2 party, it is virtually impossible to play expert difficulty with them due to the number of very high friendly fire rate. Realism Advanced is still very much a challenge for this group so it doesn't really matter!!!
Sleepy Sharn
Lately I have been sleeping 3 to 4 hours a day everyday... for dunno how many consecutive days le.
Today I felt so dead, so giddy, so restless. Definitely the impact of "not enough sleep" is coming to me. I am not that young to be able to ton many days without sleeping much le.
And can you ever guess what make me sleep so late everyday, when I used to have a curfew which I set on my own?
1) Liar Game(Thank god this week there's no Liar Game cause of New Year)
2)海派甜心 (Argh the latest episode is 1 hr 30 mins long and it made me sleep super late at around 4 am...)
3) Kimi no Iru Machi (Manga). I just can't stop reading this manga once I started it...
I shall sleep early from today onwards. Must try to sleep early. MUST.
L4D1 maps on L4D2
Finally I got those L4D1 maps workable on L4D2. While it's still buggy somehow(like weird zombie respawns timing to pressing the rescue button but it won't work sometimes), the maps are still very fun after playing too much L4D2!
And the skies are damn beautiful too.
