Hoho, lately I just have the craving to play more jubeat. Kinda addicted to it already, although I don't really play that much. And I play all the easy songs only ^.^V Jioed Xin and lots of random people to CCK on the 26th to play jubeat and have dinner, unfortunately many didn't reply, weiny couldn't make it and Kanglin have some shortage of budget(did ur girl eat up too much of ur money?). So only BoA aka Soul came. Yeah. I finally saw the Bala BoA!!! He is soooo camera shy though...

And yeah, so we jubeated. I finally got some full combo songs (Blue Bird and XXX no chizu, fill in the blanks HAHA). Still can't get SS rank though, got a couple of S and that's it. My next aim: SS rank one of the basic songs!!! Shall keep up trying harder... That said my morale have been devastated. BoA, who had never jubeated before, played this game and never ever failed to get a passing grade of B and higher. First song give him try a lv2 basic song, he passed with flying colours. Lv3 basic song, passed again. Lv4 advance, PASSED. Lv5 advance song, got a B, and when he first time play a advance lv6 song, he got a grade A for it. YESH. First time play advance lv6 song get an A!!!! Gotta be kidding me!!! It goes to show how noob I really am... He has very nice reflexes though I admit and nice perfecting too.
After some jubeating, we went to had dinner at the food court below. I went to try the pepper lunch express, 1st time trying it and really had a horrible experience. The food was nowhere good actually and for the price of it, I would never try pepper lunch again. Argh. After that we went back arcade, Xin had some Parapara and Piu then we headed to mac. They ate some fries and icecream while I had my icey miloey to cool myself down~~~ After that we went homey as Xin was afraid she will miss the last bus(it was abt 11 already, time flies~).

Last night I had a weird dream. Really weird one about 2 bulls with white horns on top of their head, 1 very cute de pig and lots of couple flamingos... Okie it's weird in a way how I see them, especially the pig. LOL. They were soooo cute(in my dream at least) and I was full of @@ when my handphone alarm ringed and woke me up from the blissful, funny yet soothing dream. Hmm... Okie dont talk about the weird dream le =="
24th dec was a half day work in office(come on don't even say that that is work, we go there use com until 930am then play games and lucky draw and makan then go home. hahaha). Well what did the company organise on this day? Game no. 1: Treasure hunting. Hunt for stuffs on the list hidden at the allowable places. Crossed out area are inaccesible and we cannot stay too long in the pond in the middle(our desk) or we will get drowned. Wth. The rough map is as follows...
Yeah there's monsters and dinos and sharks, unfortunately they are not edible.
Yeah so the treasure hunt begins. There is only 1 treasure in every clue. I was in team 1 and there were 5 different teams and every1 was split up. I look at the hint list, and question no.2 was: Who had the biggest sized safety shoes in the workshop?
I looked at my teammate, they looked at me, we laughed. Went back to my desk and checked out my safety boots. Bingo. Yeah my shoes were a huge size 11 for god's sake. And I know which community member set that question(that horny idiot!!!).
And so, yeah, the treasure hunt goes on. At the end of the game, it seems like team1 had the least items in our box, and 1 other team had alot of items inside theirs. When the community member calculated the score, guessed what? Team 1 won. Apparently other teams were just chucking things into their boxes without thinking. HAHAHAHA. The most unlikely team with the least amount of item in the box won!!! How ironic. The entire team was so surprised sia. But the reward was... 5X10 bucks NTUC voucher(oh I used up mine already at the time of this typing). Everyone got 1 voucher(10 bucks). Well better than nothing I thought.
2nd game: Bingo. Yeah they give us paper with lots of random numbers and we were supposed to line up 5 numbers that were chosen randomly by the community members vertically or horizontally to win prizes. Something like tic tac toe with random numbers. Oh well, a game that counts luck. And I had it. The first round I bingoed!!! But another auntie shouted earlier than me and she got the prize. Wth. The second round I was waiting for 2 numbers to bingo but it never came. Sadded.
3rd game: Decipher as many logos as we can. The winner gets a huge prize. So what logo am I talking about? Something like those yahoo "Y" logo, where they give the Y and you must write down on the piece of paper that icon 1 is yahoo. Now that isn't so simple, cos the logos are CUT into half or MORE(Imagine Long John Silver's logo cut off until only the goldfish can be seen. Wait you didn't know there's a goldfish atop the signboard of Long John Silver's? I didn't know either). There were 50 logos to decipher. Argh alot of weird ones. American idol logo also got. In the end I got 40+ correct but some1 scored more than me. Sadded. Pics below.

Second Round. One of my colleague was looking at me and saying "You really can eat alot." Yeah I had a total of 5 rounds that day. HAHAHAHA. Can't blame me, the smoked ham that they brought was UBER, and I mean UBER, delicious. I wonder where they bought from.
The log cake!!! Santa Claus is HARD!!! Taste like sweet but he's TOO HARD FOR MY TEETH!!! The log cake is soooooooo nice too!!! Choc cake with BLUEBERRY filling!!! Talk about heavenly cakes!!!
After makan was the lucky draw time. For the first time ever, I got the top3 prize. Well the third prize to be precise. But I was sad. The 3rd and 4th prize was a Sharp WIRELESS DOOR SECURITY SYSTEM. What does it mean? It means, you know, those device where there is a camera that you put in front of your door and when someone rings the door bell you can on the device and see who is on the other side of the door throught the device via a LCD screen. And you can chat throught the device too. Those high tech thing you see on tv dramas. It's wireless. But why do I need something like that? My house ain't that rich and no1 ain't robbing my house. So high tech for &*^%!!!The first prize was a Nintendo Wii and 2nd and 5th prize were digital cams. I want one of those instead of some security door things. Haha. Well gave them to my mother already and see whether she wants to put it up the door or ebay. YESH ebay.

Oh well we already knew who our presents will go to(via some loose mouth), and I got a... you know... those scent burners de holder. Hmm... Oh and one of my colleagues gave me a small sized Shiroi KOIBITO to me~~~ Ahhh she's so sweet gave to me cause she knows I love them. Oh well all the shiroi koibitos are in my stomach already(including the ones Xin bought me 1 week back. *burp*).

We went to the coffee shop opposite Bugis(I think the place called Parklane Wanton Mee or something) for dinner and eat the infamous Wanton Mee there(hrm I didn't know it was famous anyway). Ok on with the blog. The wanton mee was nothing special, Sunshine Plaza's wanton possibly will pwn them anyway. BUT~~~ The youtiao Serene ordered was damn delicious and I liked it~~~ The you tiao with Mayo~~~ So crunchy and yummy ^____^ The total meal cost 6.50 only, possible one of the cheapest meal I have had recently.
After eating the wanton mee, we went to have dessert at the super famous Ah Chew Dessert. As usual the place was full house, even though it has already expanded, there are still not enough seats!!! We got to wait and wait there until a seat popped out. Finally of what seems like an eternity, finally got a seat popped out for the 3 of us.

Okie stomach full and pressies bought. What else? Time to JUBEAT!!! yesh finally jubeated today(oh anyway I jubeated earlier when I was in Dhorby Ghaut with xin, shan and corn), but this time I went havoc at Bugis's Virtualand!!! My tokens were slipping down the machine, and I tried Ayu's Blue Bird advance lv4 song and got a B!!! Hey it's not bad for an official first day try ok! heaven and Earth song got an A!!! Oh well it's that simple lv3 difficulty anyway haha!!! And I got a B on one of the newer songs on lv4 difficulty too, forgot the song names haha. Weirdly though, I got a C on 1 lv2 song. My standard seems weird. Guess I shld clear more lv2s. Oh and I realised the japanese drama Kusanagi's theme song XXX no senryourita(fill in the blanks pls) is inside the game too!!! I was stunned when I heard the song. So familiar yet I dun remember where I heard it. Until on the way back home then I remembered. Also tried the Silent Hill shooting game for the second time. This time the machine was not spoilt unlike in AMK Hub and for the record, me and Rio played that game using 1 token only and played for *gasp* 1/2 an hr!!! We went to Stage 2 Section 3 le, only to find Rio dead cause the enemies love slapping Player 1 right in the face. Lucky I used the Player 2's gun. HAHAHAHA~ Well mainly he was the main shooter and I was the all-so-perfectly backup(meaning he shoot the boss and I shoot the cockroach that went sticking onto our face trying to suck our blood out. =="). I love killing blood-sucking cockroaches. Silent Hill is another game I am addicted now. And no, I don't want try SF4 for god's sake for fear of another addiction.
We played until the arcade was semi-closed ard 2330 +. The shutter was down already and we had to walk out through the back door. LOL. JUBEAT pwns!!! But now, my e-amusement card cannot use on certain outdated Xzone machines le. Sadded.
That's all there is to blog. Next 1 will be on Christmas eve and the pressies I receive. Oh did I receive any pressie anyway?

Oh lately I have been eating good food... and good holes in the pocket. Just went Dian Xiao Er yesterday(Monday) to try out the food there... heard their roast duck is very delicious and since I am in AMK hub with my friend must as well try... We ordered the normal set dinner which set us back 43 bucks for the 2 of us, which includes 1 bowl of rice, 1 vege, 1 roast duck, 1 soup and 1 pork rib.

The "lian ou" soup and the "si miao" rice. Wth will write in chinese when I get back home lol. The soup is ultra delicious considering that it's a household soup~ The rice... it's plain rice. LOL~
The Mongolia Pork Rib and the Dang Gui Roast Duck. Amazingly, the way they cook both dishes, it's sooooo delicious lor~~ Especially the pork rib, my favourite!!! The meat on the duck drumstick is abit hard though, which is a pity to an otherwise perfect roast duck.
I forgot to take the picture of the Lime salted fish vege, we ate halfway until I realised that and decided to take a photo of the vege(of which half of the portion have already flown into our stomach wahahahaha). What I can say is, the way they cooked it, it has a sour feeling to the vege but not so sour yet the vege is very crunchy, making it taste very nice~~~~
Oh the receipt. Chinese dishes always have some fanciful names.
As usual from all the chinese restaurants, when we foot the bill we got to pay extra money for the peanuts(which they serve before the meal and we ate all of them, either the peanuts is too delicious or we were just deprived of peanuts) AND the wet towel. Cheapo. Total cost was 51++ bucks for 2 person. Not too bad considering that both of us ate really very full as their portion of the food was actually quite big. Oh ya lately I find that I always have lonnnnnnng dinners, and this dinner was no exception. 1 hr 15 min ++ dinner hahaha(and this is already 1 of the fastest dinner I have had recently).
That said, me and my friend decided to watch Ip man, which my friend had already booked the tickets earlier on. Guess what... we booked the ticket at the 2010 timing, but my blur friend made the mistake booking online again(the previous time I went with him and he booked the tickets to watch the movie Wanted, he booked the wrong location, he booked at Cineleisure instead of the main Cathay and we wasted 15 bucks for the 2 tickets cause the pple there said we have to get our tickets at cineleisure and we can't transfer our tickets from 1 location to the other. Wth). He booked 1910 timing de ticket. Luckily this time around they allowed us to change to 2120, if not we wasted another 15 bucks again(how blur can a person be haha).
Since we had aprrox. 1hr to spend before the show starts, we went to the arcade. Bought the e-amusement card wanted to play jubeat but there was this group fo 6 people who were hogging the 2 machines there, in the end never even get the chance to play jubeat TT. Well played other games like Silent Hill, the machine in AMK Hub is spoilt, certain areas of the screen cannot be shot de!!! In the end 1st stage screen 3 die le. Fun game though, I bet I can go quite far if the machine isn't spoilt ==". Then we tried the gundam shooting game, 2nd time try le, but this time I find the gun so bulky cannot shoot well. ZzZzZz. After playing these 2 games we left about 30 mins before the movie start, went back see if can play jubeat anot, but the same group still hogging the machine ==". Then I notice a mother and his son play the drum no tatsujin(tai gu no tatsujin or whatever), they were playing normal difficulty, and the mother pwned the son. Full combo no miss. Who said 40+ yrs old mother can't play games?
Oh anyway, about the movie Ip Man, the show is very very VERY exciting and worth the watch!!! Alot of humour, alot of action, everything was just great. I love how the story goes, love the action, everything. This is probably more of a guy's show though with all the martial arts fighting whatsoever. Definitely one of the best chinese film this year. Another good Chinese film to recommend is Hai2 Jiao3 Qi1 Hao4. Asian films this year are soooo entertaining~
Hmm my perfs are going up recently. Especially for Flying Duck. Maybe it's cause I see how the 2 pros at dc squad played at era and learned some pointers from them(oh well perf still nowhere close to them). Either that, or Shyuun's presence during the weekend bu games with her pushed me to the limit. 4 records broke!!!

Wuwu... Yesterday I had a big hole in my wallet. I will calculate how big the hole is... well... Gotta thank Xin yesterday for accompanying me to Queensway Shopping Centre to make and help me to choose the design of my specs... Well I trust girl's choice more than mine, so probably next week when I get my new specs I will look like... Andy Lau???!!! HAHAHAHA ~~~ Oh the specs I think no brand de, either that or no name brand de, cos the frames + transition lens cost only... 275 bucks. CHEAP!!! Oh wait. I mean... EXPENSIVE!!! AHH!!! Oh well I need a new pair of specs so this money cannot be saved...
Then after making specs we went for dinner at... Vivocity. Wuwu what a place to choose... After Wednesday's BBQ with Shayla I wanna eat more BBQ stuffs, so we went to... Tajiyama Yakiniku. It's at first floor beside Shabuya's Shabu Shabu, never try the food there before so go and try... I guess the 2 of us are pretty hungry on that day(either that or we 2 just wanna eat and not care about the expenses). We ordered... ALOT. Yes alot. Weirdly though... we finished them all. YES ALL OF THEM. Japanese BBQ foods are probably my love this month. Too bad ce and kint did not come to join us (what were they doing with hamster foods in Holland Village?).

Oh the... black pig's pork belly. Gyukaku's pork belly taste much better than Tajiyama's though.
The 3 seafood dishes we order. Ika, Scallop and Dory cod fish. I just wanna say 1 thing... The FISH is the MAIN attraction of the meal. It's SUPER fresh and SUPER delicious and SUPER yummy... but then 5 slices of fish cost 12 bucks. The Ika... well, taste normal frankly, though dipped with the japanese sweet or salty sauce it's still delicious~~~ And the scallop... I love the scallop here more than the ones at Gyukaku, the scallop taste is stronger here~

The drinks we ordered. The Choya Umeshu and Suntory's Malt Beer. I drank Choya's Umeshu alot of times already so no comments, though it's the first time I ever ate the sour plum in the Choya Umeshu and all I gotta say is... the alcohol concentration in the plum is... ALOT. Yeah strong alcohol soaked inside the sour plum. Nevertheless it's uniquely nice if you love alcohol~~~ Xin doesn't dare to eat her sour plum so I ate hers too... 2 Umeshu sour plums nyahahahaha!!!
Suntory's Malt Beer. I SUPER like this beer I tell you, a very light alcohol tasting beer with a REFRESHING touch to it. Cost a whopping 10 bucks for a small bottle though.

My Zaru Cha Soba. The cha soba here beats Sakae's HANDS DOWN. The cold noodle has somewhat a MUCH better chewing feeling to it, and the sauce it came seem so light but not salty yet taste yummy enough. Cost 8 bucks though.
Garlic Rice. 1 bowl for 3 bucks. However Garlic Rice mixed with pork belly, pork collar, and all the seafoods ESPECIALLY the fish, taste... SUPER, DUPER, AWESOME. Yeah garlic rice is nice alone but mix with the meats and seafoods it's... incredible!

The desserts after those great yummy foods. I had the pumpkin pudding. Hmm god knows why got sweet paste above my pudding de. I like the dessert, it has a light taste to it not forgetting the soft slimy pudding touch!!! ^____^

Total damage in Tajiyama Restaurant: Xin - 54 bucks. Me - 70 bucks. Holy cow!!! What did we order? Let me recap... Pork Collar, Pork Belly, Ika, Scallop, Cod Dory Fish, Zaru Cha Soba, 2 Garlic Rice + 1 bowl of plain rice, 1 Choya Umeshu, 1 Suntory's Malt Beer, 1 Pumpkin Pudding and 1 Green tea icecream with tangyuan in sweet paste. *Gasp*. 124 bucks including GST and service charge. OK yakiniku is SOOO not cheap. LOL.
After makaning such delicious food, we went challenger to buy some stuff that I needed. My earphones are spoilt so bought a new pair of earphones and then buy another thumbdrive(I lost 2 thumbdrives alrdy, either someone took it in my office or I misplaced it around my room. Haha). Another 30 bucks fly off TT. Then we went atop the vivocity to blow some cold bleezy breeze and relax amongst the countable stars and cloudy night... kimochi~

The HUGE HUGE HUGE GIGANTIC HUGE BEAUTIFUL COLOURFUL christmas tree atop vivocity. Who would ever thought that some stupid people would put such a gigantic christmas tree atop the roof of some shopping complex. It's actually VERY COLOURFUL but the camera cannot take anything other then yellow lights, when it has ALOT of colours. AND IT's FREAKING HUGE.

I kinda like the fairytale christmas tree at Bugis... Unfortunately the horses are not ride-able... But they are beautiful...
